Anglican Rosary
11:15 a.m. in the Veterans Chapel
Contact: Maggie Hefley
Another source of prayer at Christ Episcopal Church is the Anglican Rosary which is prayed weekly. Although a majority of the Rosary is contemplative (not spoken) much of it is vocal, i.e. at the beginning each attendee is asked if they have any intentions such as thanksgiving for a safe trip, rain, successful surgical procedure, prayers for a ill person, repose of the soul of a departed person. Then the leader starts the Rosary. The service takes about 25 minutes and is a meaningful discipline for most people. A script is furnished to follow along. Everyone is invited - just show up and bring your Rosary.
